Terms & Conditions

We hope that you have found this website helpful and informative allowing you to take the next steps to enhance your wellbeing but putting that aside here are some of the more practical elements related to your care.

All treatments must be played for in advance of the appointment via Bacs. An email will be sent to you confirming the agreed plan of care and containing an invoice with details on payment.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given to reschedule or cancel an existing appointment to receive a full refund. For cancelations with less than 24 hours’ notice 50% of the appointment cost will be retained.

If you choose to cancel a pre-paid course of treatment before it begins or part way through the remaining sessions will be refunded at a rate of 50% unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Some medical conditions may require consent from your General Practitioner or Specialist doctor before proceeding, please understand that this is for your safety and wellbeing.

Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT)/Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy (DLT) may require a recent (within 3 months) ABPI test before treatment can begin to ensure the safe use of compression.

To receive CDT/DLT the relevant bandages must be ordered on prescription via your G.P or paid for privately before the treatment can begin. Details of this will be shared with you during your initial assessment. Private orders for bandages will be placed by the practitioner on receipt of full payment and treatment cannot begin until the relevant supplies have arrived.

Once bandages have been purchased privately if you choose to discontinue your treatment before it begins or part way through, they will be refunded at a rate of 50% of the original purchase cost.

Medical notes will be retained for a period of 7 years after your last appointment in accordance with legal guidelines. Once this period has passed online information will be delated and hardcopy will be destroyed. If you choose to seek treatment again after this period, then a new set of notes will be created.

Personal data is collected both online and in person. During your initial assessment you will be asked to sign a consent form for the use and safe storage of the information that you share. This will never be given to a third party for any purpose without your prior consent.

If you are 16 or under, you must have a parent/guardian’s permission to share personal information on a medical intake form and seek MLD/DOT/CDT/DLT treatment. During your initial assessment a parent/guardian must be present to sign a consent form for you to receive treatment.
